Summer vacation..... what a journey. it started off picking Brandon up from his guys weekend where he had just backpacked 30 miles through the Yosemite mountains.... I was soooo excited to see him but we still had a long drive ahead of us to Lancaster to visit some family and friends. It seem to take forever... being 7 months pregnant on a road trip is not the funnest thing to do. Lancaster was fun. We got to visit with a lot of close friends we haven't seen in awhile and spent some quality time with Brandon's grandpa.. On Wednesday we had a family day at Zuma beach in Malibu.... it was really great. The only thing that went wrong this day was the traffic afterwards heading to Disneyland because of the 90,000 people that attended the Lakers celebration parade. We went 3 miles in 30 minutes :( Thur. morning was our first day to go to the park, we were all soooo excited until about 2 min after we walk in my mom has a seizure right on main street (one of the scariest days of my life) she is doing fine now but still getting some test done to make sure everything is OK. The rest of the trip went really good. Gabe had a blast.... his favorite rides were Tower of Terror and Space Mountain (Hes crazy, but I was so proud of him for not being scared) We spent 3 days in the park and by the end were soooo tired. It was good to come back home, expect for that we had to go back to work the next day..... oh well vacations can't last forever!

Bringing Gabe to the beach was really fun.... it was the first time (that he could really enjoy and remember it) that he got to go a beach..... he loved the waves!!!!
Visiting with Brandon's Grandpa was nice. We don't get to see him very often so it was a special time. We took him out to lunch at his favorite place and got to meet his girlfriend :)
